The other component is the visual design. Tagging and defining those tags allows you to create a consistent visual design that will help learners “chunk” the material appropriately and better retain the information. Instructional Materials - Summary

Whew! Bet you're glad we're through that. That was a lot! And in fact, that's appropriately so. By tackling materials, you can take care of a large set of the barriers that commonly limit learners unnecessarily. Now let's practice and then look at other barriers and what to do.
